Brain Need Gym
Have you ever wondered why your brain is not performing as it used to be?
If yes you should know your brain is in desperate need of workout sessions.
BRAIN NEED GYM.
I remember a time which is not so far behind when I used to dream, think, write, work a lot more. There was a passion inside burning bright as the sun on a hot summer. Together with passion, there was a will to work things out, experiment everything on the mind, eagerness to achieve everything you dream of.
Those were the days before the fear of failure and interference of the society. Yes, the golden teenage days.
Now I'm going to talk about one Indian Middle-class life fact. Our society demands to do what's right by them. With the fire of enthusiasm to achieve our dreams we think we can overcome the invisible barriers set by society. Sad but true, not all get lucky.
We are not expected to fail but how can that be possible? Nature has proved that 'failure is the stepping stone to success', but not here. In this society, these words move no stones. So some are forced to stand back without even getting a chance to try and there are some who failed trying. Here is the full stop to our dreams. Even I had to accept the big round full stop. Maybe most of you who read this can relate. I always wonder what if my parents had said yes to my dreams. Let time tell. You may wonder what this has to do with brain workouts, you'll see.
After accepting the failure we move on with our new life. Some join for a degree or some go for jobs. With work clouding our mind and the free time we choose to spend on Social Media rather than taking a walk or spending some time with friends and family. We start to ignore our poor brain who was once our best friend and we go on with life. An unhealthy diet, workload, killing free times with social media all jams your brain and we may even forget about him.
As time passes our brain will start taking breaks from us. The point I realized this was when I sat for my University examination. I usually don't mug-up things for exams, just write out of memory. One fine day of exam it struck to me that I'm not able to write like I used to do once. It made me very uncomfortable and I struggled even more as my brain is not working like I thought it would or as it used to do. That was the moment I personally realized my brain needs real workouts.
I bet the majority of you had gone through any similar situation once in your lifetime. That's ok, it is not too late there is still time to get back to real life. No matter what the situation demands, never let go of your dreams. I'm no person to advise anything on achievements because I have only stepped foot in the path of the dream only recently after a long time. Come let's work together for an even brighter future. Stop ignoring your brain, don't let it rot. Let your brain work in its full potential, start to dream again, read more and more, imagine unseen and unheard, write your heart, draw your mind, capture the moment.
Be creative. You can do it. You must do it.
Remember, don't let the world tell you what you want to be. Show the world how your healthy brain saved you.
